If you’re interested in becoming a member or renewing your membership of Swinford Athletic Club and Athletic Ireland, you’ll find all the necessary information on this page.

Registration for the year 2026 is open!

Please note that anyone participating in club activities must be a paid-up member of Swinford AC. This membership fee also covers the amount paid by the club to Athletics Ireland for each athlete, including insurance.

Membership Rates

The membership rates for the year beginning December 2026 are as follows;

New Members – Registration Process

You can now conveniently register online.

To become a New Member, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to Athletic Ireland registration portal by clicking here.
2. Create an Athletic Ireland Account (includes email verification step)
   
3. Log into new Athletic Ireland account
   
4. Register new member on Athletic Ireland account
   
5. Select Swinford AC club for new membership
   
6. If registering an Adult membership select the following
   
7. If registering a Juvenile membership select the following
   
8. Enter new membership details
   
9. Either choose to register another member or submit membership(s) for club approval
   
10. Await Club Approval
    

Existing Member – Renewal Process

To register an Existing Member, please follow these few steps;

1. Log in using the following link: Athletics Ireland Membership Portal.
   • Your username is the email address you provided during registration.
   • If you have forgotten (or don’t know) your password, please select the “Forgot password?” option to reset it.
     
2. You should be able to view all members linked to your Athletic Ireland account
   
3. After clicking on a member, you should see an option to ‘Renew for 2025’
   
4. You will then have to confirm member details, then add renewal membership to the cart
   
5. In the cart, you will have the option to ‘Proceed to Checkout’ or ‘Renew Another Member’
   
6. After checkout you will get an order number that you can use if you have any queries about the renewal.
